INTERNSHIP OF YALA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS 2016, ENHANCE THE INTERNATIONAL JOINT OF UNIVERSITAS

Universitas Negeri Malang welcomed the visitation of 9 interns from Thailand on 18th August 2016. Those 9 students are the Malay Language learners in Yala Rajabhat University. They will be nurtured with Indonesian Language in a week of study before attend the internship program. The internship itself will be held from 5th September 2016 to 4th November 2016. Beside doing internship program, those students are also to be expected to attend UM iCAMP program that will be held on 8th to 12th November 2016 in Universitas Negeri Malang.

“Indonesian Language is different with Malay Language,”a student said with Malay dialect.“We don’t get the meaning if you speak fast,” another students said.

The difference of two language caused the comprehension borders between the interns, who learns the Malay language, and Indonesian native speakers. But we expect that all of the interns will be able to speak Indonesian fluently since the close relation of the root of Indonesian Language and Malay Language.

The relationship between two universities has been started since 2015. With this internship program in Universitas Negeri Malang, we are expecting that a better relationship will be expanded in the future. (*FDA)
