This was the second meeting of Darmasiswa Food Carving\nClass which held in the meeting room of the Office of International Affairs of\nUniversitas Negeri Malang. The class was started at 09.00 a.m. by Ms. Wiwik\nWahyuni, one of the lecturers from Department of Industrial Technology, Faculty\nof Engineering, Universitas Negeri Malang and attended by five international\nstudents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The students were guided by Ms. Wahyuni and three other\ntutors to learn how to make food carving on vegetables. The tutors taught the\nstudent patiently to make ornaments from various kinds of vegetables, such as\ncarrots, tomatoes, radishes, and chili. Before they did the practice, Ms. Wahyuni\ngave several examples of technique that could be used to make the ornaments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the explanation, the students tried to make various\nvegetables into decorations. Then, the practice ended with the arrangement of the\nornaments that have been formed into two large fruit basket.
