Both of them will study and live in Sweden for a semester (about four months). Before they depart to Sweden, Universitas Negeri Malang gave them a short briefing with their parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The briefing was conducted on Tuesday (14\/1) at 08.30 am. In this briefing, the students got several advices from Prof. Dr. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed., M.Si (Vice Rector), Ms. Evi Eliyanah, S.S., M.A (Director of International Affairs UM), and Dr. Suharyadi, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Chief of Department of English). Ms. Evi as the director of International Affairs explained that two years ago (2018) Universitas Negeri Malang had won Grand Erasmus+. This victory has given the opportunity to Universitas Negeri Malang\u2019s students to study overseas, especially in Sweden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on Mr. Suharyadi explanation, in academic and administration aspects, Ridwan and Dimas are well-prepared to do this exchange and study in Linnaeus University. He hoped that both of take care of themselves because they will feel an extreme cold weather in Sweden. He also said that he is proud because Department of English has successfully achieved its goal in term of exchange programs for lecturers, staffs, and students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UM\u2019s vice rector congratulated Ridwan and Dimas for their achievement. \u201cCongratulations for both of you. You can get this amazing international chance,\u201d said Mr. Budi. He asked them to struggle and work hard during the learning process and face any difficulties wisely when they stay in Sweden. \u00a0Underlined Mr. Budi\u2019s words, Ms. Evi said that the education environment in Europe will be totally different. Reading is the most important thing to do in order to make Ridwan and Dimas can easily adapt in their environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the briefing was ended, Ridwan, Dimas, their parents, and some of the lecturers that came to this briefing took some picture together.
