Chinese Department of Petra Christian University in collaboration with Sonora Music Associate Surabaya will hold the 2019 International Choral Arts Festival with the theme of “One Belt One Road, Sing Out The Future” which will be held on Thursday – Saturday, November 14th-16th 2019 at Q Building of Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Indonesia.
This Festival Programme will include The Competition, Friendship Performances, and Closing Ceremony Banquet. The Competition will be held to enhancing choral art in Indonesia, promoting Indonesian choral art in the international world, and encouraging choral art exchange. The committee will select 12 groups from each category to participate in final round.
Organizers also welcome groups from Indonesia and abroad to come and participate in the Friendship Performance Event. This Friendship Performance Group will also go through the selection stage and 10 (ten) groups will be selected to perform as performers at the Closing Ceremony Banquet on November 16th, 2019.
Registration for The Competition and Friendship Performances will be started from June, 10th to 30th 2019.
