The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay invites UM students and graduates to join a Winter School Programme from 15-25 December 2021. This programme offers three courses for university students in Indonesia, which are Artificial Intelligence in Education, SVD, and Nanoengineering. This winter program will be conducted online and will be free from registration fees.
Artificial Intelligence in Education
This course will cover the basics of learning analytics that are applied to educational dataset.
- Requirements
Students with basic knowledge in computation skills and are currently in their third year or above of undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD studies.
- Duration
Two weeks with the teaching/learning content available for thirty hours
SVD: The Philosopher’s Stone in Data Science
This course will cover how to obtain Singular Value Decomposition, its various properties, as well as its applications.
- Requirement
Second year undergraduate students or any students with basic knowledge in linear algebra and matrix theory
- Duration
The total duration of the course is eight to nine hours.
Nanoengineering: Fundamentals to Applications
This course aims to give the fundamentals of material science, the origin of electrical, optical, and mechanical properties, strategies of tailoring properties, modern techniques of patterning at Nano or micro-scale, characterization techniques, and the applications of Nanoengineering materials.
- Requirement
Undergraduate or postgraduate students in Natural Science and Engineering with interest in nanotechnology.
- Duration
Three days, with the total duration of 24 to 26 hours.
