Malang – On Wednesday, May 15th, 2019, was held the third day of Darmasiswa Culture Class which located in the Meeting Room of OIA. The class was begun at 09.00 with the theme of ‘Painting’ thaught by Mr. Triyono Widodo, a lecturer of Department of Art. The class was opened with a presentation by two students from Department of Art, Mas Angga and Mbak Titin. Mas Angga delivered the first session of ‘Materi’ about Indonesia’ Local Wisdom and National Culture. He explained that Indonesia has many varieties of local wisdom, race, and culture. He continued to introduce about traditional games that used to be played in certain events or in national commemoration day of Indonesia. The next session was continued by Mbak Titin. She explained how to visualize our work by applying painting technique correctly. She also introduced materials and equipments which are needed to do the painting activity. In the end of the class, the participants were required to do practice of painting, by using the materials and the equipments that had been introduced before. Then, the practice was followed by a short review on student’s painting by the tutors. Before the class was ended, there was a photo session with all of the participants while they were all handling each of their works.
