Fall 2026 Student Exchange Program

Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan

The Office of International Affairs, Universitas Negeri Malang, is pleased to announce the opening of the Fall 2026 Student Exchange Program at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan.

This program offers selected students the opportunity to study abroad with a 100% tuition fee waiver.

Eligible Applicants:

Undergraduate students (Bachelor’s degree) of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM)
Students from Engineering, Management, and Design fields

Application Deadlines

Fall Semester Intake: 30 April 2026
Spring Semester Intake: 15 October 2026
Late applications will not be processed.

Program Duration

Fall Semester: September – January
Spring Semester: January – May

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Minimum GPA of 3.0
English proficiency at CEFR B1 level or above
Completion of at least two (2) years of full-time study at the home university

MCUT Application Form (typed, not handwritten)
Recent ID Photograph
Autobiography and Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Study Plan
International English Proficiency Test Score
(TOEIC / IELTS / TOEFL / TOCFL – minimum CEFR B1)
Copy of Passport Photo Page and Student ID
Official Certificate of Enrollment from home university
Official Academic Transcript (all completed courses)
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation from home university professors
Financial Statement with a minimum balance of USD 3,000
Parental/Guardian Consent Letter

Important Notes

All required documents (Items 1–10) must be compiled into one (1) PDF file
Documents must be arranged in the exact order listed above
Direct submissions from students are not accepted
Applications must be submitted by the home university coordinator
All applications must be collected and processed through the Office of International Affairs, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM)
Incomplete or missing documents may affect the nomination outcome
Students are required to cover the following expenses independently: Airfare, visa, meals, accommodation, and other personal expenses
