Latar Belakang

UM iCamp merupakan bagian dari upaya berkelanjutan Universitas Negeri Malang untuk memajukan pendidikan global. Program ini dimulai untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa luar negeri untuk belajar bahasa Indonesia dan merasakan kehidupan budaya dan akademik di Indonesia.

Program intensif ini terdiri dari sesi kelas, sesi sosial budaya, dan kunjungan lapangan ke tempat budaya dan sejarah. Melalui sesi ini, mahasiswa internasional akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk lebih memahami aspek dinamis masyarakat Indonesia di masa lalu, sekarang, dan masa depan.

Objectives

The objectives of this program are:

1. To introduce Indonesian cultures, especially Malang culture, to international students.
2. To give educational service that could inspire the international students.
3. To expand the exposure of international event in Universitas Negeri Malang.
4. To optimize the reciprocity of international partnership initiation.
5. To endorse the potential tourism of Malang City
6. To promote the education quality of Indonesia, especially Universitas Negeri Malang, to international students.

Our Support to SDGs

We proudly present UM iCamp 2023 in order to support United Nations’ Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2030 and Indonesia’s commitment through Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

The announcement you’ve been waiting for is finally here! We are pleased to announce the selected & reserved participants of UM iCamp 2023 at the following buttons:

To all accepted participants, please complete all the confirmation steps before June 12, 2023! Check the instructions sent to your email.

To reserved participants, you will be offered a spot once a participant from the accepted list declines the offer. Otherwise, refer to the instruction sent to your e-mail to skip all the waiting and join us in UM iCamp 2023 right away!

1. NOT an Indonesian citizen
2. Be at least 18 years old and no more than 35 years old
3. Enrolled in a Degree/Non-Degree program of a university (undergraduate and graduate)
4. Be able to speak in English
5. Have a health insurance
6. Have a recommendation letter from home university

1. Prepare the following essays:
   1. Short essay on your motivation in applying for UM iCamp 2023, what knowledge you seek to gain, and how UM iCamp program will be beneficial for you. (max. 500 words)
   2. Short essay on your favorite activities or interesting experiences in your community that makes you a unique candidate.
2. Prepare the following files:
   1. A Formal Photo in Color (a passport size photo, 4 cm x 6 cm). (File *.JPG max. 1 MB)
   2. Scan of Passport. (File *.jpg max. 1 MB)
   3. Medical certificate stating that you are in the physical and mental health capacity to join the program. (File *.PDF max. 1 MB)
   4. Latest academic transcript
   5. Declaration Letter. (File .PDF max 1 MB), format could be downloaded sini.
   6. An authorized letter of recommendation to join UM iCamp 2023 written by:
      1. a professor / lecturer from your home university;
      2. a teacher at school you attended who knows you well; or
      3. a supervisor / employer at your work place.
3. Wait for a notification that you have successfully registered to UM iCamp 2023.
4. Result Announcement will be on 10 June 2023 through UM iCamp 2023 website.
5. Program Fee: USD $450 and Availabe Scholarship for limited seats
