UM IPF 2022

Application for an international postdoctoral fellow at UM is open for those who:
is a non-Indonesian citizen
has obtained a doctoral degree within the past 5 years at the time of application has published at least one (1) international publication at internationally indexed journals

Responsibilities and expected output:

The selected candidates are expected to devote 40 hours/week, with 80% research and 20% guest lecture activities. The expected output is furthermore stated below:

One publication draft ready for submission to an internationally indexed journal by the end of the fellowship
Guest lecture activities at UM’s designated department

Benefits:

Salary: IDR 15,000,000 if the fellows decide to do the research at UM, or IDR 10,000,000 if the fellows decide to work remotely. The salary is subject to Indonesian Income Tax.
Fee waiver for immigration charges, health insurance, and a return airfare, should the selected fellow choose to work on-site.

Accommodation at on-campus international student apartment, which is suitable for single occupant.

Latest CV including personal details, academic background, research experience, and a list of related publications Recent photograph
Scan copy of passport Letter of recommendation from an academic referee Research and publication proposal to be accomplished during the postdoctoral fellowship with the following criteria:

be not more than 5 pages
be related to an area of research interest of UM associate professors or professors must have never been submitted for any publication

Results of the selection will be released through email on September 5, 2022.
