Western Australia East Java University Consortium (WAEJUC) International Enrichment Program

UniversitasNegeri Malang invites you to participate in the International Enrichment Program – Western Australia East Java University Consortium (WAEJUC) in Perth, Australia which will be held on September 1 – 8, 2019. The host universities are The University of Notre Dame, The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University.

WAEJUC International Enrichment Program combines Academic study with cultural excursions to iconic Perth locations. This Program includes Academic, Social and Cultural Component as follows;

• Academic Component: Includes specialist lectures and interactive workshops at the five Western Australian universities.
• Social and Cultural Component: A specially designed social and cultural program showcases the best of Perth and provides opportunities to interact with Western Australian university students.

Program Period:
1 – 8 September 2019

Eligibility:

• Undergraduate students of UniversitasNegeri Malang
• Nominated by the Office of International Affairs of UniversitasNegeri Malang
• Having TOEFL ITP or TOEFL IBT score ≥ 477
• Commit to all aspects of the program upon the nomination
• Be physically and emotionally capable of completing the programs both in the host university and the home university

Required Documents (must be in PDF format):

1. CV (in English)
2. Motivation Letter (in English; 200 words)
3. TOEFL ITP or TOEFL IBT certificate (minimum score is 477 or equal)
4. Academic Transcript (all semesters for students)
5. Recommendation Letter (template could be found at: http://bit.ly/Recom_Letter_IEP_WAEJUC )
6. Scan of Passport (must be valid 1 year from 8 September 2019)

Important Dates:

May 27, 2019: Deadline for registration

Accommodation:

Campus Perth, between A$30 (four bed share dorm) and A$45

(twin share) per person/per night.

Program Fee:

A$670.00 per student (including GST).

Program Inclusions:

• Academic program
  • 5 x on-campus lunches (Monday to Friday)
  • Transport to and from organized events including airport pickup/drop off
  • Entry to organize events

Program Exclusions:

• Travel and associated costs e.g. Visa costs
  • Accommodation
  • All Meals (except for 5 x on-campus lunches)
  • Events not included in the program
  • Note: participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance

Application Procedure:

• Register yourself to the Office of International Affairs of Universitas Negeri Malang by completing the required documents as attached before 27 May 2019.
