Cooperation Agreement with Prince of Songkhla University: A Step of Internationalizing UM

Six representatives of Prince of Songkla University (PSU), namely Sawarose Phungrasami, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekkarin Sungtong, Asst. Prof. Nifarid Raden-Ahmad, Asst. Prof. Ampaiwan Supapwanich, Asst. Prof. Dr. Virintorn Auksomnit, Dr. Wuttisak Pochanukul was visiting Universitas Negeri Malang to establish international cooperation. The visitation was held on 23 November 2016 at the 2nd floor of the building A3 State University of Malang. The deans and director of the Office of International Relations were attending the meeting which lasted for approximately four hours. It resulted in an agreement of cooperation between the two universities that will be drafted and ratified in the Memorandum of Understanding.
Price of Songkhla University (PSU) is a notable largest university in Thailand’s southern region. The university was established in 1967. The campuses are spreading in Hat Yai, Pattani, Surat Thani, Phuket, Trang. Having cooperation agreement with PSU was expected to lead one-step ahead of internationalizing Universitas Negeri Malang in a global scope.
The delegates were presenting at Universitas Negeri Surabaya before finally heading to Universitas Negeri Malang at 9.00 a.m., liaised by Rachan Jaengsri, International Student from Thailand. (*FDA)
