Malang – At Sunday, 14th October 2018, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) held green walk to celebrate its 64th anniversary with “Bekerja Bersama Membangun Bangsa” as its theme. This event is going great at Graha Rektorat UM’s field involving all of UM civitas academic with all of their family as well as alumni. This event started at 06:00 AM with rules explanation from the Chief Executive, followed by greeting from I Wayan Dasna as vice rector IV. The first agenda is Aerobic led by undergraduate from Sport Science Faculty. Even international student didn’t missed out this event and participating at this green walk. They lined up at first row and follows the aerobic movements from the instructor.
After doing aerobics together, all participant were directed to start the green walk, opened by Vice Rector I, Prof. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed, M.Si, Vice Rector III, Dr. Syamsul Hadi, M.Pd, M.Ed, and Vice Rector IV, Dr. I Wayan Dasna, M.Si, M.Ed, at Semarang street. All participant walks with fixed route from the committee with so much spirit on them. The routes starting from Semarang street – Bogor street – Veteran street – Gate at Ambarawa street – D block – Surabaya street and closed with coupons submission at Semarang street. At finish line, participants were enjoying foods and beverages at bazaar stand around Dies Natalie area and waited for their number to be called. Coupons lottery going fun with some performance by Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM). International Student from 3+1 program also performing chinese traditional dance.
This event was ended with announcement of main coupon lottery winner at 11.30 WIB.
